The woods and forest is where I am most at peace and, if I am honest, most in my element. Trees have always fascinated me. They spend their long lives anchored to one spot, in a constant battle with their surroundings to be the biggest and best of their kind. They attract all kinds of life to them in order to help them propagate their children to other places. Some trees I have photographed were around during the Tudors, which is mind boggling to try to understand! I am blessed to have many amazing woodlands near to my home and each one has its own vibe and feel to it. My aim, with my camera is to express those vibes and feelings to you.
